Shipping and Receiving Clerk
 
Kelly® Professional is  seeking a dedicated and flexible Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position involves working both in the office and warehouse, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations.
 

• Schedule: Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 4:30pm and Friday 8am – 2p
• Pay: $15/hour
• Location: Valdosta, GA 31601

 
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description:

• Ship goods and materials out of the warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods and materials.
• Count and verify incoming goods, make accurate notations, and place items in designated locations in the warehouse.
• Pull orders and process necessary paperwork like pick tickets, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Assist with production, cleaning, shipping/receiving, baling, and other assigned duties.

 
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Required Skills, and Abilities:

• Legible writing and tape measure reading ability.
• Accurate recording on shipping and receiving documents.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions for customer shipping requirements.
• Proficiency in using a weigh scale and stretch wrap machine.

 
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with computers is required (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook), along with proficiency in label printer and database use.
• Capability to drive a forklift and use a pallet jack (or willingness to learn).
• Competence in handling phone calls regarding shipping and delivery appointments.
• Lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent moving, lifting, twisting, pulling, pushing, walking, and standing.

 
Work Environment:

• Temperature extremes from hot to cold; transition between climate-controlled office and non-climate-controlled warehouse.
