Be part of the booming data center industry! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join a flagship construction project in New Albany, Ohio. What You'll Do:
- Lead Quality Oversight: Monitor and verify the quality of all construction and installation activities performed by subcontractors, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, drawings, and industry codes.
- Create & Manage ITPs: Develop and implement project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and oversee compliance through thorough inspections and documentation.
- Drive Quality Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of inspections, testing, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and punch lists.
- Resolve Deficiencies: Identify, document, and track quality deficiencies; collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
- Be the Client's Trusted Partner: Serve as the go-to contact for all client-facing quality-related issues, representing the project's commitment to high standards.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with project management, engineering, safety, and commissioning teams to embed quality into every stage of project delivery.
- Train & Mentor: Educate and support both internal teams and subcontractors with clear expectations and best practices in quality management.
- Prevent Rework & Mitigate Risk: Proactively ensure work meets all quality and safety standards, protecting against costly rework and warranty concerns.
- 7–10 years of experience in construction quality management or oversight, ideally in power generation, industrial facilities, or data center construction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC processes, building codes, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with AIA contracts, owner specifications, and EPC project environments (a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and enforce compliance with professionalism and authority.
- Outstanding organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong communicator, both with teams and clients.
- Comfortable with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Project-based role (expected 12–14 months), with potential to participate in future high-profile assignments.
- Work onsite in a dynamic, fast-growing data center market.
