Job Description
We are seeking a Senior SailPoint Developer to lead our technical migration from IdentityIQ (IIQ) to Identity Security Cloud (ISC). Our primary objective is to modernize our IGA platform by deconstructing a highly customized legacy environment—currently reliant on custom workflows and Java plugins—and re-engineering it into a streamlined, standardized cloud solution.
The ideal candidate will focus on rationalization over replication, replacing bespoke code with native ISC Transforms, Workflows, and REST APIs. You will be responsible for reducing technical debt by mapping complex legacy logic to out-of-the-box ISC functionality, ensuring a scalable and maintainable identity program.
Work onsite: Monday through Thursday ; Remote: Friday
If holidays falls on any onsite workday, it's required to work onsite on Friday
Required Technical Expertise
• Proven track record of leading technical migrations specifically from SailPoint IIQ to Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
• Expert capability in auditing and reverse-engineering legacy Java-based Plugins and BeanShell Workflows to extract core business logic.
• Demonstrated success in reducing technical debt by retiring custom IIQ workflows in favor of native ISC features.
• Advanced proficiency in building complex ISC Transforms, Workflows, and Lifecycle States to replace legacy rule-based logic.
• SailPoint REST APIs and the ISC Connectivity framework to facilitate data migration and system integration.
• Experience re-modeling legacy IIQ roles and entitlements into streamlined, ISC-compatible access structures.
• Microservices and Containerized application development experience
• Knowledge of SailPoint Event Triggers and external automation for scenarios where ISC native workflows require external extensibility.
Experience & Education (Required)
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (CS, IT, Cybersecurity) or 8+ years of equivalent IAM experience.
• Professional Tenure: 5+ years in enterprise identity engineering, with at least one full-cycle migration from IIQ to ISC.
• Platform Deep-Dive: Minimum 4+ years of development in SailPoint IIQ and 2+ years in Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
Desired Skills
• Experience deploying ML solutions in Azure, Kubernetes, or microservices.
• Understanding of secure coding and responsible AI principles.
• Familiarity with SailPoint Roles Insights or AI-driven access recommendations to help automate role discovery during the transition.
• Strong SQL skills for performing data validation
