SOLIDWORKS DRAFTER - Wyomissing, PA 
(3 to 6 month contract) -- Targeting $24/hr to $26/hr

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented SolidWorks Drafter to create and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for machined and molded parts and assemblies. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and clarity of technical documentation used for manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SolidWorks to:
    • Develop new 3D models and 2D drawings based on sketches, system models, or manual measurements.
    • Revise existing drawings for improved clarity or to reflect design changes.
    • Create detailed assembly drawings for complex products.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to identify and resolve discrepancies in designs and drawings.
  • Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) tables for both assemblies and schematics.
  • Utilize Agile PLM 7 to manage parts and associated BOMs.
  • Perform daily check-in and management of CAD files within the SolidWorks PDM system.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of drawings created by other drafters.
  • Utilize the drafting work database to retrieve information crucial for assigned tasks.
  • Operate and maintain plotters, printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Complete timesheets, update the drafting work database, and submit progress reports to supervisors.
  • Maintain adherence to Teleflex's Code of Ethics, company policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (Drafting, Engineering Technology) with 2 years of experience using SolidWorks, or
  • 5 years of demonstrably relevant drafting experience with proven ability in SolidWorks
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Working knowledge of drafting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using plotters, printers, copiers, and scanners.

Additional Information:

  • Travel may be required for training or to visit other Teleflex facilities.
