Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist for a long-term opportunity in the Lake Jackson, Texas area! The Sourcing Specialist sources and manages a portfolio of products or services to improve cost position and supply security in the market through application of the strategic sourcing process. This role receives a moderate level of guidance and direction while building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers.

The Sourcing Specialist will perform the following duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of products and services to improve cost position and supply security in the market through application of the strategic sourcing process.
  • Utilize business acumen and analytics to drive value from the market and influence stakeholders.
  • Negotiate, execute, and implement commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography.
  • Support labor sourcing needs for assigned sites (including site access updates/facilitation, SMAT input, AMSL/Site Sourcing Guide updates, supplier invoice and tax payment resolution, etc.).
  • Perform duties as focal point for NA Sourcing
  • Utilize and Update Purchasing/Sourcing work databases and tools (such as Zycus, SAP, Power BI, AMSL, etc.) in the execution of duties.

Required qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking
  • A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred qualifications include:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • A degree discipline in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
  • Working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities
  • Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers
  • Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline
  • Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

  • Demonstrating competencies in the areas of leadership, initiative teamwork and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to remain productive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
  • A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks
