Kelly Services is hiring a Structural Mechanic II to work with Gulfstream, a leading aircraft manufacturer, at GAC Tulsa, OK 74117. This role offers hands-on aerospace experience in a team-oriented production environment with a long-term 48-month contract.

Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract: 48 months
Key responsibilities:

Assemble, fit, and rivet detail parts and structures; perform sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation of aircraft components.

Safely use tools including portable and pneumatic riveting guns, drills, countersinks, rivet shavers, files, and reamers.

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, hole patterns, and cut/form materials.

Perform repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMTs), Material Review Requests (MRRs), and Production Change Orders (PCOs); complete necessary rework.

Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, pins, and fasteners according to specifications.

Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; comply with all safety regulations and support 5S and Lean initiatives.

Assist in equipment maintenance, collect/dispose of fluids and waste properly, and support handovers between shifts.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 2 years of related structural assembly experience.

Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic documents.

Basic computer and shop math skills.

Strong hands-on aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Experience with composite resins and materials.

Ability to climb ladders, stands, stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work any shift and communicate effectively in English.
