Description

Kelly Services is hiring a Supply Chain Technician for a local hospital. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, detail oriented, and tech savvy. Previous inventory, order pulling, or stocking experience is preferred. Hours are 6am-2:30pm and some weekends are included. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits upon permanent hire for the right candidate! 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a balance of stock and non-stock items in designated areas.
  • Ensure stock areas are clean, properly labeled, and organized for easy retrieval.
  • Interact with point-of-care staff and connect them with the department supervisor as needed.
  • Manage special orders for non-stock items according to departmental policies.
  • Conduct daily checks of specialty carts and trays for necessary exchanges or replacements.
  • Monitor and facilitate the inventory of medical equipment used in patient rooms.
  • Collect and deliver medical equipment for decontamination after patient use.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial responsibilities.
  • Check for expired items or those nearing expiration daily.
  • Follow departmental safety standards and proper handling procedures.
  • Contribute to teamwork by assisting peers with various tasks, including cleaning and communication.
  • Cross-train in all team duties to ensure flexibility and coverage.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management using automated system tools.

Qualifications:

  • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using automated support tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
