Technical Support Coordinator, Mason, OH (Onsite Training)

Kelly Services is seeking a Technical Support Coordinator to provide Phone Support & Troubleshooting. Will answer technical support calls, via the Technology Team technical support line – assisting all users with technical hardware, software and connectivity issues for one of our top clients.

Type: Contract W2
Start Date: 8/5/2024 (Possibility to covert after 90 days)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. (W2)
Interview: In-Person (Possibility to have virtual interview instead)
Training: 8/7/24 – 8/16/24 (ONSITE)

  • Training Time: 9:00am-5:30pm M-F
  • Training will be from 8/7/24 – 8/16/24
  • Training and Transitions are mandatory in-office activities and typically span a total of two-three weeks.
  • The standard timeline involves a week and a half for Training, and then participants must successfully complete Transitions, including passing a call quality assessment, before being eligible to work from home. While most individuals are able to transition to remote work by the third week, those who encounter challenges in meeting quality standards will be required to remain in the office.
Schedule: 10:00am and 9:00pm M-F (will have a set weekend day of either Saturday or Sunday.) 40-hour work week within 5 days of the week.

Qualifications:
  • Basic Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows – able to troubleshoot application installs, windows machine system configurations (standard cpu and laptop)
  • Basic Technical knowledge of PC Hardware (knowledge of CPU, monitor, basic hardware connectivity)
  • Basic Hardware and software application trouble shooting skills
  • Looking for candidates with strong empathy skills/retail background preferred

In case of remote work your will need the following qualifications:
  • Required to be able to physically pick up a tote of equipment (CPU, monitor, power cords, headset, mouse) when deploying & receiving equipment from agents' cars
  • Must be willing /able to come pick up equipment from the CSC and capable of setting it up at home.
  • Equipment includes CPU monitor, mouse, keyboard, headset, power cord, monitor adaptor cord, 6 ft ethernet cord.
  • The workspace should be free of outside distractions
  • Cables should be routed away from any walkway to avoid slip and fall hazard
  • Minimum internet speeds are 10 Megs download and 1 Meg upload
  • Connectivity to the local network is required to be via ethernet cord plugged directly into the internet router.
  • Connection cannot be wireless; the workstation should be near a wired internet connect (only 6 feet ethernet cord will be provided)
  • Must have a smart phone: Our remote connectivity security requires multi-factor authentication. The authentication requires the use of a smart phone app.
  • Only company provided hardware should be connected to the computer
  • Must be able to pick up equipment from Mason, OH
  • Able to work remotely with limited distractions and has an understanding of accountability and integrity.
