Job Summary
The Test Technician will support hardware debug and data collection activities in our test lab and at local manufacturing partners. Major responsibilities include maintaining existing probe and handler hardware, debugging and repairing defective hardware, bringing up new test and probe hardware, and assisting in hardware transfers to overseas manufacturing partners. The Test Technician will be expected to work 2nd-shift including one weekend day. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain probe and handler test hardware – Probe cards, handler interface boards, connector interface boards
- Coordinate with PCB vendors, get quotes, and place orders for new hardware as needed.
- Assist in bringing up test hardware.
- Assist offshore manufacturing partners with debugging probe hardware issues.
- Learn wafer probe methodology of upcoming new products in preparation for mass production.
- Collect and analyze probe data as requested by engineering teams.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and specifications related to wafer sort and final test.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field desired.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and computer tasks required.
- Computer programming skills are a plus.
- Must have good planning skills and be able to work independently without supervision.
- Able to work 2nd-shifts including 1 weekend day.
