Trade Compliance Analyst
Fremont, CA or Remote
Temporary
$60-64/hr


Kelly is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to work with our client, a leader in the biotech industry, on a temporary basis through the end of the year with potential for extension or conversion. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a growing company that uses cutting-edge technologies to improve patient outcomes globally!

The Trade Compliance Analyst will:

  • Analyze and interpret global export/import regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes
  • Develop and implement best practices across all departments to prevent trade disruptions and to develop lean approaches to the practices
  • Manage quarterly transfer pricing adjustment and be a transfer pricing champion
  • Assist with Global Trade Compliance automation program
  • Assist Sr. Trade Compliance Specialist to monitor inbound US import shipments via customs broker, FedEx, and DHL
  • Provide existing Harmonized Tariff schedule numbers, FDA, and USDA information to clear shipments through U.S. Customs
  • Manage all Partner Government Agencies to ensure products are released in a timely manner
  • Handle customs broker management and optimization
  • Determine country of origin (by regional value or transformation) and labeling and marking on products
  • Development trade compliance training modules
  • Create new processes/procedures and streamline the existing processes/procedures
  • File drawback claims
  • Perform quarterly self-audit
Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of US Customs and Import Laws and Regulations (CFR 19)
  • Knowledgeable of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Previous working experience in the medical/biotech industry strongly preferred
  • Solid experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with customs clearance procedures
