1st shift $20.30-$24/hr DOE
2nd shift $22.33-$26.40
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Trimmer to join our manufacturing team. As a Trimmer, you will be responsible for using hand tools or power tools to cut and trim a variety of manufactured composite parts. This is an entry-level position that requires little to no prior experience, as training will be provided on the job. You will work under close supervision and gradually develop the necessary skills to excel in this role. If you have excellent eye and hand coordination, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a passion for working in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.
Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Sumner, WA
- Shift: 4:30am-3:00pm and 3:30pm-2:00am
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Trim and deburr fabricated components using pneumatic power tools
- Sign off on all work performed, reporting any production discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment or supplies, promoting safety in the workplace
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to read and understand detailed instructions
- Excellent eye and hand coordination
- Skilled in the use of pneumatic router and drill motors
- Ability to utilize measuring equipment, including scales and calipers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Composite training preferred
- One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Composite manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in the aerospace industry preferred
- Basic computer skills
