Unlicensed Nursing Assistant
Direct Hire
Days & Night Shifts Available: Night (7pm-7am), Day (7am-7pm)
Pay: $13.80+ per hour, based on experience 

Summary/Objective
The Unlicensed Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and accommodative services for assigned patients. 

Responsibilities include patient care activities within the position's limits; does NOT administer medication or therapy; does NOT assume independent responsibility for any patient.

Essential Job Duties
Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions:
•    Deliver specified patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, following physicians' orders and approved patient care standards.
•    Accurately record graphics, intake and output, and ADLs in the computer and flow sheet, implementing measures to promote safety for patients and others.
•    Maintain knowledge of the stable baseline conditions, both physical and mental, of the patient population served.
•    Institute nursing interventions required to stabilize a patient's condition and/or prevent complications. Report observations to the licensed nurse to assist in care planning.
•    Communicate and interact effectively with patients and their families, addressing their psychosocial needs.
•    Utilize equipment safely and effectively according to the age and condition of the patient; assist in cleaning and sanitation of equipment and supplies.

Required Education and Experience
•    6 months to 1 year of related experience

Required License/Certifications
•    BLS Certification
•    Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date
