Unlicensed Nursing Assistant (Direct Hire)
Schedule: Day & Night Shifts Available
- Night Shift: 7pm–7am
- Day Shift: 7am–7pm
Pay: Starting at $13.80+ per hour (Based on experience)
Position SummaryJoin our team as an Unlicensed Nursing Assistant! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate patient care and supportive services under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This position does not involve administering medication or therapy, nor does it assign independent responsibility for patient care.
Essential Job Responsibilities- Deliver patient care for assigned individuals according to physician orders and nursing standards, under direct supervision.
- Accurately record patient data (graphics, intake/output, and ADLs) using computer systems and flowsheets.
- Promote safety for patients and staff; promptly report any concerns.
- Understand and monitor the physical and mental baseline conditions of your patient population.
- Apply nursing interventions and report observations to licensed nurses to support care planning.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing psychosocial needs.
- Safely use and maintain equipment appropriate for patient age and condition; assist with cleaning and sanitation.
Education & Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience required
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
- Ability to complete unit-specific competencies within six months of hire or transfer
