Shift: Rotating Schedule (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift)
Employment Type: 5-month contract
Work Setup: Onsite

What's a typical day as a Utility Worker III? You will:
  • Perform various manual labor tasks such as picking up paper, sweeping floors, shoveling, cleaning with hand tools, and handling chemicals.
  • Safely operate forklifts (about 10% of job duties) to move materials, such as paper rolls and pallets, as well as empty dump hoppers.
  • Use specialized equipment like the core cutting machine to process materials as directed.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures; participate in pre-shift meetings and work effectively as a team member.
  • Work in physically demanding environments (hot, cold, or dirty conditions) and consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
 This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • Experience in heavy industrial labor and ability to perform strenuous physical tasks on your feet for the shift duration.
  • Ability to pass a full drug test (including THC screening) and complete all safety clearances.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and strictly follow safety and attendance protocols.
  • Flexibility to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and adhere to attendance policies.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience operating a forklift.

  • Familiarity with industrial chemicals and safety standards in manufacturing environments.
  • Prior work experience in a paper mill or similar heavy industrial facility.

Other Details

  • Mandatory steel toe shoes required.
  • Tobacco-free facility (no smoking, chewing, e-cigs, or snuff allowed).
  • Strict attendance: late arrivals or no-call/no-shows (NCNS) result in immediate termination.
