Fork Lift Operator

Join our dynamic team as a Fork Lift Operator, where you'll play a crucial role in the handling process of packaged and pre-packaged products. Bring your skills to a thriving environment that values safety, precision, and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-Time
Company: A Leading Logistics Provider
Location: Ware, MA
Pay Rate: 20/hr
Shift: 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate warehouse forklifts and adhere to work instructions.
  • Timely completion and forwarding of all necessary paperwork.
  • Verify the condition of customer packages and report any non-conformances.
  • Maintain cleanliness in warehouse and dock facilities.
  • Assist in various warehouse operations as required.
  • Report any contaminant findings to management.
  • Accurately input data into the VMU.
  • Communicate any problems or issues to management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies diligently.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience; certified forklift license preferred.
  • At least 6 consecutive months of forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background screen.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 25 kilograms (55.1 pounds) for 15 minutes and move pallets weighing up to 34 kilograms (75 pounds).
  • No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
  • Strong physical abilities including handling, feeling, and manipulating keyboard keys.
