Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24.31 per hour
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesday; 5:40am – 6:00pm

What's a typical day as a Winder Operator? You'll be:
  • Operating winders and packaging machines on two production lines in a fast-paced environment
  • Conducting regular equipment inspections and safety checks
  • Performing plant safety and housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Monitoring and reporting unusual materials or product issues
  • Executing quality checks on finished products for proper weight and thickness
  • Managing scrap and seconds reporting accurately
  • Assisting with product changeover and web break repairs
  • Working with your team to achieve zero injuries, zero defects, and zero losses
  • Utilizing basic computer systems for data entry and reporting
  • Supporting training and development of fellow team members
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have at least 2 years of manufacturing or process-related experience (required)
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal direct supervision
  • Can perform basic math and communicate effectively in English
  • Are comfortable learning and using computer software such as Excel, Outlook, MII pallet labeling, Ignition, and SAP
  • Can work the following shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesday; 5:40am – 6:00pm (overtime/flexibility required)
  • Are able to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs and work up to 12-hour shifts in an industrial environment with PPE
