Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Strategy and Continuous Improvement, the Analyst Strategy and Continuous Improvement – Supply Chain will execute projects within the supply chain strategy portfolio to improve processes relative to warehousing and transportation of goods, production planning, inventory management and procurement.
The Analyst Strategy and Continuous Improvement – Supply Chain will be responsible for collecting relevant data, producing analysis and implementing changes in accordance with the overall organizational and supply chain strategy.
Key Activities
- Collect data from different sources (field and systems).
- Analyze and aggregate data to support recommendations regarding the actions to be taken and the overall execution plan.
- Support project implementation through all phases of deployment.
- Support end users by acting as a solution expert for newly rolled out solutions.
- Prepare documentation for communication and training purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside the organization.
Experience & Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain role or related position.
- Advanced skills with Office Suite applications (excel, access, etc.).
- Ability to use data science and analytics tools (i.e. Alteryx).
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English (French is an asset).

- Working knowledge of data analysis and ability to develop actionable insights from data.

- Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
Specific condition of the role
- Must be available to travel to production and warehousing sites in Canada and the USA as per required for ongoing projects (up to 25% of time).
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting.
FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking and standing,
OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals.
VISION: Ability to see close objects i.e. computers for long periods of time with or without correction.
HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
