Job Summary

The Associate Data Management Analyst supports data and configuration management activities across engineering programs. Responsibilities include developing documentation, assisting with configuration systems, and preparing contract data submittals. The role utilizes product data management tools, participates in design reviews and audits, and provides regular status reporting. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and establish data management documentation based on program requirements  
  • Assist in coordinating the development, implementation and maintenance of configuration management systems
  • Participate in design reviews, audits, schedules, budgets, etc.
  • Utilize product data management tools
  • Assist in the preparation of contract data item submittals to established delivery schedules
  • Provide support to the Product Data Manager and Engineering technical staff
  • Responsible for regular reporting of progress and status
  • Communicate (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
  • May analyze proposed design changes to determine the effect on the overall system
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements
  • Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings
     
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of engineering or manufacturing technical data packages 
  • Ability to work independently under supervision of others
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • General computer skills  
  • Experience with CAD data systems desirable
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field (CAD data systems)
