The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA.  EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms.  We offer an exciting and challenging work environment, a competitive salary and benefits package, and a business culture that rewards performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for supply chain activities.
  • Maintain files, logs, and records of requisitions, cycle counts, and vendor maintenance requests.
  • Control and oversee multiple processes to ensure procedures are followed by everyone and processes are fully compliant.
  • Manage and update computer system data related to procurement and inventory.
  • Assist in expediting purchase requisitions, vendor change requests, and cycle count audits.
  • Support the Accounting Department with clerical and data entry tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the business unit.
  • Perform routine operations support across departments such as engineering, accounting, and supply chain.
  • Collect, track, and verify data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Compile, review, and analyze reports, statistics, and project timelines.
  • Utilize functional software tools to generate reports, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Assist in designing workflow improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on processes and procedures related to the functional unit.
  • Maintain compliance with company mission, values, and culture.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree (preferred), High School Diploma, or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce company policies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of office procedures, with solid writing and verbal skills.

 

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
