Job SummaryUnder the general direction of department leadership, the Operations Performance Analyst supports and leads various projects focused on operational efficiency and performance improvement. This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting access, throughput, cost efficiency, patient experience, financial and strategic data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to Lexington Health Leadership.
Plays a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining an analytics program that supports strategic decision-making, performance improvement, and operational goals. This includes creating reports, dashboards, and other data-driven tools to enhance business intelligence. The role also requires proactive and reactive support while demonstrating professionalism and strong customer service. The analyst actively participates in team and project meetings, contributing to innovative solutions that drive efficiency and strategic growth.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Process Engineering, Nursing or other clinical or related health services field
Minimum Years of Experience: None.
Substitutable Education & Experience: A Master's Degree can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of health care experience
Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Proficiency in data visualization, workflows, and reporting tools;
Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives;
Ability to collaborate across departments and drive strategic initiatives.

1. Data Analytics:
i. Analyze complex datasets to extract insights and assess operational performance.
ii. Gather, interpret, and synthesize data to develop meaningful conclusions and support business recommendations.
iii. Conduct ad hoc research, financial modeling, and analytics to guide decision- making.
iv. Perform benchmarking analysis and financial reviews to identify opportunities for improved performance.
v. Collaborate across departments to evaluate user experience and operational efficiency from a data-driven perspective.
vi. Prepare statistical and analytical reports for leadership.
vii. Partner with senior leadership to design and develop reporting tools that enhance decision-making.
viii. Identify and recommend process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and productivity enhancements.
ix. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of clinical, financial, and quality data in collaboration with project leaders.
x. Serve as a data steward, ensuring compliance with data governance best practices.2. Project Leadership:
i. Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
ii. Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to gather project requirements and support execution.
iii. Develop project-related materials, including project plans, implementation plans, communication strategies, and financial models.
iv. Provide data-driven recommendations using sound judgment, research, and key stakeholder input.
v. Apply various project methodologies, including workflow assessments, best practice evaluations, operational efficiency improvements, and performance reporting.
vi. Ensure timely and accurate execution of project deliverables, meeting established goals and deadlines.
vii. May support approximately 10 to 35 departments or practice locations.

3.Strategic Alignment:
i. Contribute to short-term, medium-term, and long-term planning efforts.
ii. Utilize industry knowledge, business processes, and operational best practices to recommend solutions that support business objectives.
iii. Work closely with leadership to develop strategic initiatives and project plans.
iv. Assist departments in implementing recommendations that enhance economic and operational value.
v. Drive operational improvements through standardization, simplification, and process optimization.
vi. Stay informed of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, anticipating their impact on operational needs.
vii. Identify potential bottlenecks, escalate issues when necessary, and maintain a balance between business priorities and technical constraints to drive successful outcomes.
viii. Participate in service line, leadership, and steering committee meetings as needed.4. Communication and Presentations:
i. Develop and present reports, proposals, and other deliverables in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
ii. Summarize complex data and findings into meaningful insights for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
iii. Identify risks and opportunities, providing well-supported solutions and recommendations.5. Performs all other duties as assigned.
