Title and Summary
Analyst, Risk Reporting Analyst The primary responsibility of the Analyst, Risk Management is to provide support to the CRM Central Team, CRM's risk managers and senior management to help manage Mastercard's Customer Risk Management function. The role also involves partnering with Mastercard's 2nd line Credit Risk, Sourcing, Finance teams and others.Mastercard has approximately $76B in credit exposure to financial institutions and other counterparties worldwide, placing the CRM role as a key part of its evolving and quickly growing business model. The magnitude and strategic nature of this exposure necessitates periodic engagement with senior management, Mastercard's sales, franchise, and product organizations as well as our customers (issuers, acquirers, etc.). Role
The primary responsibility is to support the Analytics and Reporting function within the CRM team, to ensure customer risk is appropriately assessed, managed, and mitigated in accordance with Mastercard's policies & procedures and risk appetite framework. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Support the creation, preparation and enhancement of both external and internal CRM-related reporting (SEC Fillings, Board of Directors reporting, etc.).
• Support cross-functional initiatives to deliver on risk goals, policies and procedures requiring credit risk data analytics inputs.
• Support the management, monitoring and enhancements of Mastercard's credit risk models.
• Provide day to day support to the CRM Analytics Manager on Vendor management, including budgeting, contracting and relationship.
• Participate in various process improvement initiatives and best practices sharing.
All About You
• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in business, economics, econometrics or equivalent.
• Experience in credit risk models and quantitative credit analysis.
• Accuracy, self-drive, accountability and sense of urgency.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint user.
• Positive attitude, strong work-ethic, and good sense of humor.
