Title and Summary
BizOps Engineer II Overview Part of a team of talented Systems Administrators responsible for a large high-availability infrastructure environment predominantly leveraging AWS Cloud, VMware, Linux, CI/CD and other open source technologies.Design, plan and implement complex information and infrastructure systems to support business strategies. Upcoming projects include cloud computing, continuous delivery, virtualization, clustering, high-availability, centralized storage, data warehousing environment, application integration and application server and database hardening.
Role : Technically proficient in command-line Linux administration, performance optimization, auditing, virtualization, cloud computing, shell scripting, automation and troubleshooting.
Able to manage time effectively, and manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity, resources, deadlines, and cross-functional dependencies. Able to objectively prioritize work based on cost, benefit, risk, and organization expectations.
All about you Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years systems administration experience
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Experience in open source technologies: JBoss, Nginx, OpenResty, OFBiz, Apache, Tomcat and others
Experience managing core AWS products and services (e.g. VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Route 53)
Experience on Configuration Management/Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet etc)
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (Networking & Security, TCP/UDP, IP Routing, HA & Load Balancing.)
