Business Opportunities, Launch Graduate Program 2025 – Budapest, Hungary Mastercard Launch is an 18-month global development program providing recent graduates with opportunities and exposure. There are Launch opportunities in Account Management, Business Development, Business Intelligence & Finance, and Retail and Commerce for 2025. 1. Account Management – financial institutions:
Works with representatives of banks in executing joint initiatives related to developing card products, running usage activation campaings, developing new services. Support senior account managers in internal data analysis, preparation for customer meetings, writing presentations.
Participates in creation of sales incentive offers for banks.
Joins account managers in socialising with customers at out of office occasions; sponsorship events, concerts. Brings an outside-in view to find answers to banks' painpoints and requests for new products and services.
Interacts with other departments in realtion to operational tasks with the customers; invoicing, fulfilment of Mastercard licensing requirements, tracking of spends wihtin incentive agreements.
2. Business Development with focus on Slovenia
Product & Solutions team, focusing on Digital Payments for the Hungarian and Slovenian Cluster. Based in Budapest, the role will primarily concentrate on the Slovenian market, driving innovation by launching new products and services to meet evolving customer needs. As part of a dynamic and diverse team of business leaders, product managers, and technical experts, you'll play a key role in supporting product development, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Delivery, Marketing, and Sales to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Your responsibilities will involve assisting in various stages of product development, from research and design to testing and implementation, as well as gathering and analyzing data to inform product decisions. You'll also be conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, helping shape effective product strategies. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the digital payments industry, and we're looking for someone with a strong interest in financial services, basic experience in data analytics, and the ability to work well in teams within an international matrix environment. You'll need to be results-driven, eager to learn new markets and technologies, and able to see where innovations can be used to achieve business goals.
3. Business Intelligence & Finance
As a Business Intelligence and Finance Launcher, you will provide ongoing support and insights to the local team by analyzing transactional and financial data. Your focus will be on projects such as campaign efficiency tracking, strategic analysis, dashboard development, data cleansing, exploring new business opportunities, pricing modeling, and financial tracking. Strong Excel skills, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work independently and proactively are essential. This role offers the chance to gain a deep understanding of the payments industry, fulfill your university's mandatory internship program, and work in a high-end office in downtown Budapest.
4. Retail and Commerce
Collaborate with segment lead, product development, and account management teams to build the sales pipeline. Connect with and secure new customers and partners to expand market reach. Offer insights to segment lead for long-term growth strategies, ensuring mutual profitability. Create business cases for development opportunities. Oversee customer contract agreements internally and externally. Evaluate and enhance the deal process
What you'll need
• To be available for start from 3rd March 2025
• To be a Final Year Masters/Undergraduate Student or to have graduated no earlier than September 2024
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hungarian
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
• High-energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical, technical, and strategic skills
