Overview

The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. Marketing Services is the team within Services that develops and executes the marketing programs that help our clients achieve their marketing goals. The Advisors Creative Desk sits within Services and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and our portfolio of brands.

The Creative Director provides senior creative leadership for ACD EEMEA, overseeing creative work across multiple markets and client projects. The role sets the creative vision, raises standards of craft, and ensures ideas deliver meaningful business impact at scale. Creative Director also leads creative teams, works in partnership with strategy team and internal and external stakeholders across EEMEA region, and plays a central role in shaping the overall creative direction of the facility.

Role

Define and guard the creative ambition for ACD EEMEA, ensuring work consistently reflects the highest standards of thinking, craft, and originality.

Act as the final creative authority on major initiatives, providing clear direction, decisive feedback, and creative judgement across markets and accounts.

Shape how ideas are framed, sold, and brought to life, ensuring creative work drives business outcomes and long-term brand value.

Partner at a senior level with strategy, clients, and leadership teams to influence briefs, priorities, and creative ambition upstream.

Build and sustain a strong creative culture by setting expectations, role-modeling excellence, and challenging teams to push beyond the expected.

Develop senior creative talent, identifying strengths, gaps, and growth paths across the organization.

Oversee creative quality across campaigns, platforms, and systems, rather than managing day-to-day execution.

Spot patterns, opportunities, and emerging signals across markets to inform future creative direction.

Represent ACD EEMEA creatively, both internally and externally, helping strengthen its reputation and creative standing.

All About You

Minimum 15 years of experience in creative leadership roles within full-service advertising agencies, preferably global network agencies.

Experience operating in senior leadership roles at Group Creative Director, Regional Creative Director, or Executive Creative Director level.

A portfolio that demonstrates not just strong work, but clear creative leadership, taste, and decision-making.

Proven ability to elevate ideas through direction and critique, not just personal execution.

Strong strategic instinct, with the confidence to challenge briefs and reframe problems when needed.

Senior-level client presence, able to influence, persuade, and build trust at the highest levels.

Deep understanding of modern marketing ecosystems, including brand, digital, platforms, and culture.

Strong commercial awareness and comfort balancing creative ambition with business realities.

Experience in finance or financial services is a strong advantage.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.

Ability to travel as required.
