Data Engineer Overview
Product Data & Analytics team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the business, portfolio and revenue optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development and Go-To Market strategies.

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Transform business and technical challenges into scientific research problems. And convert research challenges into algorithms.
• Develop data-driven solutions to address business challenges using appropriate techniques (AI, ML, DL, GenAI etc.)
• Be part of a team in building and executing various data science projects for product and business use cases across the organization.
• Conduct data analysis to address both business and technical challenges. In addition, report valuable and actionable insights.
• Hands on data extraction, data analysis, data cleaning, preparation, modeling, and evaluation.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts and conduct tool evaluations.
• Document and maintain the developed solutions.
• Presenting data science results to a variety of audience

All about You
• At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning Solutions end-to-end (data exploration to deployment).
• Deep understanding of different Machine learning, Deep learning, and AI algorithms and the math behind it.
• Strong scientific communication skills.
• Handling data responsibly by maintaining data governance, and privacy.
• Curious, Critical thinker, good hacking skills and scientific reasoning.
• Not afraid to ask questions and propose new ideas
• At least bachelor's in computer science or any relevant quantitative field is a must.

Nice to have:
1. Good understanding of payment networks.
2. Skill in identifying new product ideas from data.
3. Experience publishing and protecting scientific intellectual property work.

Python, ML Frameworks, and Deep Learning Framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
GenAI frameworks (LLMs, LangChain, LangGraph, Agent workflows)
