Title and Summary

Director, Account Management The Director - Acquiring Account Management is key role in the U.S. market as we continue to expand merchant acceptance and the utilization of Mastercard products and services to the acceptance community. This individual will manage a segment of integrated commerce platforms and payment acceptors.



Role:

This role will be a combination of account management and business development - with a primary focus on driving revenue by ensuring the full utilization of Mastercard products and services within assigned accounts.

Identify opportunities for increased penetration and utilization of Mastercard products and services across the assigned accounts and develop corresponding account engagement plans and account strategy to deliver on in year Services targets
Sell and optimize the usage of Mastercard Products and Services within assigned accounts
Leverage strong relationships with C-suite executives across the managed account base to achieve strategic Mastercard priorities and deepen the client/Mastercard partnership
Managing client escalations and addressing client concerns in a proactive and timely manner
Coordinate business/partnership development efforts with appropriate Mastercard business partners in Global Products & Solutions, Mastercard Technologies, Law & Franchise Integrity, Risk Management, etc., to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support for managed customers.


About You

Experience working at a leading fintech, platform, or payments company
Proven track record of selling enterprise or platform solutions and exceeding targets
Experience in managing complex partnerships in a fast-moving technology environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop compelling business cases and ROI analyses.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and familiarity with both the incumbents and new entrants in the space
Innovative and adaptable, with a keen interest in industry trends and advancements.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

Atlanta, Georgia: $143,000 - $229,000 USD New York City, New York: $172,000 - $275,000 USD Purchase, New York: $164,000 - $263,000 USD
