Director of Communications, Sales Excellence Job Description SummaryOverview: The Director of Sales Excellence Communications will lead strategic sales communications, collaborating with the Sales Excellence team to drive awareness and usage of sales tools and resources. This role requires seamless integration with the global team to align programs, processes, and communications, effectively promoting desired sales behaviors.
Role:
• Strategic Communications Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aimed at driving awareness and maximizing usage of Sales Excellence resources and tools.
• Content Creation: Draft, edit, and publish all Sales Excellence communications to ensure clarity, simplicity, and actionable information for the sales team. Utilize Marketing Cloud to delivered professional, tailored communications and track effectiveness of communications via metrics. Regularly evaluate and adjust content approach-based adoption and usage.
• Executive Support: Prepare all executive scripts; develop, edit and review all invitation, registration, and websites copy; draft all RFPs for vendors; develop briefs where needed (i.e. video storyboards, etc.).
• Communication Calendar Management: Plan and manage the Sales Excellence Communication calendar, coordinating communications, trainings, and webinars with key internal stakeholders.
• Sales Leadership Meeting: Lead the project management for planning and executing the Sales Leadership Meeting. Manage speaker briefings, touchpoint meetings, content reviews, onsite rehearsals, and ancillary components.
• Change Management: Partner with the SE Operations Team, Region Leads, and Analytics team to identify processes and UX that require enhancements and or changes. Support the project management, communications, and rollout of the changes.
• Brand Management: Oversee the redesign and consistent application of the Sales Excellence brand across various communication materials including banners, newsletters, and award shows.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the internal communications team to promote Sales Excellence programs through various channels, including theHub and EBB.

• Extensive experience in crafting and delivering effective communications that drive sales initiatives.
• Superior writing, editing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Skilled at collaborating with diverse SMEs to develop cohesive and impactful messaging.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and executing high-impact communication strategies and complex projects efficiently.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a sharp focus on priorities.
• Capable of interacting effectively with management at all levels, synthesizing information, and creating compelling narratives.
• Ability to swiftly engage and work effectively with multiple partners.
• Bachelor's degree required; Postgraduate degree preferred.
• Sales knowledge and proficiency with Salesforce are a plus.
