Title and Summary
Director, People Business Partner OverviewThe Director, People Business Partner (PBP), Services role is a pivotal position designed to support senior leaders with strategic People & Capability (P&C) matters such as organizational effectiveness, talent management, engagement, workforce planning, change management, and coaching/advising, aligning with our company's people strategy and business goals. The Director will closely collaborate with the Specialized Product Delivery (SPD) organization of Advisors & Consulting Services. This global organization includes Advisors Customer Success, Advisors Research Center, Advisors Creative Desk, and Training & Education. the
Some focus areas for this role include creating and implementing the people strategy, consulting with business leaders, performance management, employee coaching, talent management, employee relations, and compensation planning. Including leading bespoke people programs for A&CS designed to drive talent development for a project-based, client-facing organization. The Director reports to the Vice President, People Business Partner of Advisors & Consulting Services (A&CS).

Role
• People Strategy Execution: Execute the people strategy that aligns with the business goals and growth plans.
• Talent Management: Lead global talent processes including talent reviews and year-end performance and compensation. Conduct talent assessments and ensure appropriate development plans are in place.
• Organizational Design and Development: Advise senior leaders on organizational design, career leveling, and talent development. Execute and support organizational design initiatives.
• Employee Support and Engagement: Promote enterprise-wide solutions for learning & development and employee engagement that address critical business needs.
• Coaching and Advising: Guide and empower employees and people leaders to utilize our self-service model for general inquiries, while handling complex matters and leading or participating in projects.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the main contact with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the Global Business Service Center (GBSC) on program delivery issues. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of P&C programs and initiatives.
• P&C Operations: Partner with People Specialists to ensure excellence in delivery of P&C Operations
All About You
• Experience managing local P&C initiatives and operations for a market
• Demonstrated success when advising and coaching business leaders and other stakeholders on the local P&C environment, market best-practices and all day-to-day people and culture matters.
• Demonstrated success building relationships and collaborating with COEs and other key stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Successfully led complex cross-functional projects and teams with strong project management skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute.
• Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results on a key strategic initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with technology and curiosity to leverage AI and other technologies
• Exposure to delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership.
• Experience motivating and building skills within team of direct reports, or a project team or taskforce.
• Strong business acumen coupled with efficient project management, execution, and influencing skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability drive the people and culture agenda with speed, agility and quality
