Overview
The Operational Excellence team is looking for a Lead Business Analyst to drive safe outcomes for our customer control environment by consistently Assuring our controls and applying a problem-solving mindset to risks and issues that occur during the course of business. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience , mitigating and resolving risks, ensuring Controls are implemented & being adhered to, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an attention to detail.
Role
• Displays the ability to apply an understanding of Payment Platforms & applications to perform consistent analysis and testing
• Displays the ability to apply an understanding of applications to gather pertinent information and have the confidence to be able to recommend ways in which to improve our controls environment.
• Ability to identify, influence, and facilitate outcomes internally and externally by helping shape a viewpoint on how to respond to controls that may have failed and facilitate execution of solution delivery, or engage relevant resources, or relationships for Mastercard in order to expedite satisfactorily.
Example
In this position, you will:
• Partner with a number of internal business teams to identify and close out gaps in controls, solve problems, and deliver solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and participate in a number of ad-hoc departmental initiatives
Partner with 1 LOD to participate in Risk Control Self Assessments that look at critical processes within the Business with a view to ensuring Design & Operating effectiveness of Controls

All About You

Displays the ability to apply an understanding of applications to perform consistent analysis and testing by having an intermediate level of knowledge around SOC 2 / ISAE3000/ PCI control frameworks.

Have an awareness of Platform Product Management which involves overseeing the development and lifecycle of platform-based products, focusing on the compliance and controls required in order to accommodate scalability, integration, and user experience to meet business and customer needs.

Ability to identify, influence, and facilitate outcomes internally and externally by helping shape a viewpoint on how to respond to Control Weaknesses and facilitate execution of solution delivery, or engage relevant resources to mitigate.
