Lead Business Analyst OverviewThe Mastercard Billing Services (MCBS) team is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to drive the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of Mastercard's Order Management (OM) platform and its integration with enterprise financial and billing systems.
This role will partner closely with technology, product, billing, and finance teams to ensure accurate, scalable, and well-controlled integration between OM and downstream financial systems, enabling correct pricing, billing, and revenue outcomes.

Role (Key Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
· Lead end-to-end business analysis for the Order Management platform, with a strong focus on integration with financial, billing, and revenue systems, including data flows, business rules, and process optimization.
· Drive and document integration requirements between OM and downstream financial systems (e.g., billing, pricing, revenue, adjustments), ensuring correct design, testing, and implementation.
· Partner with stakeholders to define, validate, and govern pricing, rate, and financial data exchanged across systems, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
· Define and validate billing and financial feeds originating from OM, ensuring accurate invoicing, alignment with revenue recognition principles, and compliance with Mastercard billing policies.
· Apply expert-level critical thinking and analytical skills to assess complex, loosely defined problem spaces, identify gaps, and propose practical, scalable solutions where requirements are incomplete or evolving.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, Product, Finance, and Billing Operations to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and influence successful delivery outcomes across multiple teams.
· Develop and maintain user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings, ensuring clarity and shared understanding across business and technical partners.
· Support test strategy, test planning, and UAT execution, including validation of financial data, reconciliation logic, and end-to-end processing results.
· Act as a trusted liaison between business and technical teams, translating complex business needs into system-ready requirements and validating that delivered solutions meet intended outcomes.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Strong experience as a Lead or Senior Business Analyst supporting order management, billing, revenue, or financial systems in complex enterprise environments.
· Demonstrated expertise in integrating financial systems into an order management platform, including understanding of upstream/downstream dependencies, data flows, and control considerations.
· Proven ability to gather, analyze, and validate business and system requirements, working closely with diverse stakeholders to resolve ambiguity and align on outcomes.
· Expert-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently navigate uncertainty, decompose complex problems, and solve for unknowns.
· Strong understanding of billing, pricing, and revenue processes, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements.
· Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex functional and technical concepts to varied audiences.
· Ability to manage competing priorities, organize work across multiple workstreams, and guide teams through evolving requirements and delivery challenges.
Desirable / Additional Capabilities
· Experience working with MCBS or other large-scale enterprise billing or financial platforms.
· Familiarity with data mapping, APIs, integrations, and system architecture fundamentals.
· Experience supporting large-scale transformations, platform implementations, or enterprise integration initiatives.
· Comfort validating financial data, reconciliations, and end-to-end processing results during testing and post-implementation support.
