Role Responsibilities:
As a Lead Architect, you will:
• Design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure Open Banking services that power next-generation financial experiences.
• Be deeply hands-on, diving into code, architecture reviews, and design sessions to ensure technical excellence and execution.
• Collaborate closely with product and business teams to shape what and how of our most critical initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and tech leads, raising the bar through coaching, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
• Solve the right problems the right way, applying sound judgment and balancing trade-offs between speed, scale, and sustainability.
• Simplify complexity, optimize cost-benefit strategies, and drive architectural decisions that deliver long-term value.
• Foster a “can-do” culture, showing bias for action, creative thinking, and a refusal to settle for the status quo.
• Engage across teams, identifying reuse opportunities, breaking down silos, and contributing to enterprise-wide architectural alignment.
• Lead by doing, not just directing—your technical depth and execution mindset will inspire those around you.
All About you:
• Expertise in software engineering and architecture, with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience designing and building secure, scalable systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong foundation in secure development practices, including cryptography, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
• Proficiency in secure coding practices in any of modern languages - Java, C#, Python, Node.js and more. Fluency in OWASP, CWE and vulnerability management -write code that's not just functional - but fortified.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, especially in fast-paced, high-impact environments like Financial Services with a strong understanding of compliance needs and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence, resolve conflicts, and align cross-functional teams.
• Creative problem-solving mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and a drive to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
• Force multiplier, bar raiser, ownership mentality, and a commitment to delivering high-impact outcomes.
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting technical interviews, and helping build high-performing teams.
