Overview
Looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to support the Technology Governance function within our Architecture and Technology team. Technology Governance team is responsible for optimizing the management of portfolio of technology products (software and hardware) used by Mastercard to build and operate our customer facing products our internal systems and tools, and the technologies used by employees around the globe to do their work. Our team is also responsible for validating the Technologies that are in use are compliant with MasterCard Standards & Principles as well as identifying, minimizing & avoiding Technology Redundancy and sprawl.

Responsibilities
As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you would
• Coordinate, manage and streamline the ongoing grooming of the existing portfolio, and change process for maintenance and additions.
• Manage the usage of the approved technologies which is the core of the Building Code, upon which tech stacks and patterns are defined.
• Manage initiatives to enhance our Technology Portfolio system along with automated audit components.
• Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of all initiatives.
• Manage logistics for policy exceptions and issues for the technology portfolio across core Mastercard and M&A Integrations.
• Drive the identification and mitigation of key risks to ensure project's success.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders across various functions
• Facilitate audience appropriate communications regarding Technology Governance status
• Advocate and implement SAFe, Agile, and Kanban methodologies.
• Lead technical discussions on technology requests amongst various stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies
• Experience in Infrastructure management
• Prior development experience would be a plus
• Experience leading technical software or infrastructure initiatives and discussions
• Demonstrated ability to support teams in the delivery of technical solutions

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
