Title and Summary
Manager, Acceptance, SAEM Role Overview:As a key contributor to Mastercard's Acceptance growth strategy, the Manager, Product and Solutions Acceptance is responsible for driving new business opportunities, developing scalable solutions, and expanding Mastercard's footprint in the acceptance ecosystem. This role blends product management, commercial strategy, and customer engagement to deliver impactful solutions across markets.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Acceptance Development & Commercialization
• Act as the primary contact for acceptance development across designated markets.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities with acquirers, merchants, payfacs, aggregators, and service providers.
• Develop and execute commercialization plans to scale acceptance products and solutions.
2. Product Strategy & Execution
• Define and deliver the vision and roadmap for B2B and consumer acceptance capabilities.
• Build tools and services that simplify onboarding, enable straight-through processing, and support automated reconciliation.
• Collaborate with technology teams to deliver scalable, modular solutions.
3. Customer Engagement & Sales Enablement
• Initiate and maintain customer relationships, including merchants and PSPs.
• Lead sales presentations, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate transitions between sales and implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery.
4. Market Intelligence & Innovation
• Bring market insights back to product and implementation teams.
• Monitor trends and competitive offerings to drive innovation.
• Provide subject matter expertise on acceptance payments and processing.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, sales, or commercial strategy within payments or fintech.
• Deep understanding of acceptance payments, acquiring, and B2B payment flows.
• Proven success in achieving sales and product growth targets.
• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bilingual capabilities (e.g., English and Spanish) may be required depending on region.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

• Experience with AR/AP platforms, APIs, and reconciliation tools.
• Familiarity with regional payment ecosystems and regulatory environments.
• Ability to work in matrixed global organizations and align local execution with global strategy.
