Title and Summary
Manager, Analytics, EEMEA (Corporate Strategy) As part of the EEMEA Business Excellence function and reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, Analytics, and M&A, the Manager, Analytics plays a critical role in advancing Mastercard's data-driven decision-making across the region. This role focuses on developing advanced analytics, applying data science methodologies, and delivering insights that support commercial performance and business optimization across product lines, markets, and customer segments.Role Responsibilities
• Analytics & Business Intelligence: Design and maintain dashboards and reports that track commercial and operational performance using Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Advanced Insight Generation: Synthesize structured and unstructured data from internal systems and external sources to guide business decisions with quantifiable impact.
• Data Automation & Pipelines: Build scalable data pipelines and automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reliability using tools including SQL and Microsoft Fabric.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with teams across Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to gather requirements and deliver tailored analytics and data science solutions.
• Visualization & Communication: Translate technical analysis into clear, visually compelling insights for senior audiences and business leaders.
• Ad-Hoc & Strategic Analysis: Support leadership and project teams with deep-dive analytics and models to answer complex business questions in real time.
Key Skills and Experience
• Experience: 4–7 years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, ideally in payments, financial services, or technology-driven environments.
• Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Alteryx. Significant Experience with BI platforms (Power BI) and cloud-based environments such as Microsoft Fabric is a strong advantage.
• Data Science Expertise: Hands-on experience with statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and data mining. Familiarity with forecasting models, clustering, and classification is an advantage.
• Data Storytelling: Ability to translate complex data science outputs into business-friendly insights and strategic recommendations.
• Business Acumen: Excellent understanding of commercial dynamics and how analytics can be leveraged to influence product, sales, and customer strategies.
• Agility & Execution: Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and timely execution.
• Collaboration & Communication: Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of working across diverse teams and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
