Title and Summary

Manager, Analytics & Metrics Overview: The Global Statistics/Analytics and Metrics team is responsible for the reporting of business drivers of revenue, both reported QMR and Switched data, for the FP&A team. The Leader, Analytics and Metrics is a key contributor role with a primary focus on compiling, analyzing, and reporting this data to Executive management, Investor Relations, FP&A and Controllers. The Leader will also have a key a role in Executive KPI reporting, as well as assisting in key data reviews for the QMR team.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Produces and reviews reporting documents to support timely statistical operational data for earnings prep and external SEC filings (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K)
• Manages key relationships with internal business units; Investor Relations, Regional Finance, Product and Account Teams
• Responsible for completion and validation of senior management reporting of operational metrics (Weekly, Monthly, Acceptance and adhoc reporting)
• Delivers advanced, detailed, persuasive data analysis of operational metrics
• Partners with business and product owners across the organization to understand their evolving needs to enhance KPI reporting
• Responsible for compiling and distribution of Executive KPI and Strat to Execution KPIs
• Provides leadership and expertise in systems enhancements and process improvements
• Supports the overall QMR Process to validate and compile data from 5,000+ external customers each quarter by participating in the QMR close process
• Performs data review and analysis as part QMR Close
• Reviews and analyzes certain controls for the QMR process
• Mentoring and training junior team members
Responsible for Budget and Forecast for the Financial Analysis team

All About You
• BS or BA with a major in Finance, Analytics, or Business Administration with previous finance experience
• Self-starter, highly analytical, and fast learner who thrives under tight timelines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Independent worker & thinker with strong problem solving skills and the ability to follow up on time sensitive issues
• A team player with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels and organizational boundaries is required.
• Ability to convey confidence and strong business acumen when communicating with senior management; excellent written and oral (face-to-face) communication skills
• Experience with change management / delivering process change in an operational environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to easily identify trends within data with an ability to create and present persuasive analysis
• Solid understanding of MasterCard's business model, as well as a thorough comprehension of the various types of MasterCard's switched transactions
• Excellent PC skills including advanced database and Excel skills, Microsoft Office, as well as, the ability to quickly learn internal database systems; MyMPA, Hyperion, and DW analytic skills preferred
• Strong relationship building and partnering skills
