Manager, Area Marketing OverviewThe Mastercard Western Europe team is looking for a Manager of Marketing & Communications, Iberia to join our amazing team. Responsibilities
• In charge of all B2C brand marketing activities, including sponsorship properties contracted and leveraged in market, B2B and B2B2C activities including issuer, merchants and product marketing.
• Plays a critical role in the matrix organization driving through cluster and major market objectives while supporting global marketing and communications strategy and product priorities.
• Customer facing and responsible to drive the marketing value proposition including attendance and speaking at events, customer executive steercos and contributing to RFPs.
• Drives outsized impact across Iberia and Western Europe.
Experience:
• Proven ability in building and strengthening collaborative relationships with global Marketing counterparts and representing the voice of the cluster and local market.
• Significant experience and proven success in one or more marketing families, with extensive experience in three or more marketing families, including PR and communications, B2B and Consumer Marketing.
• Experience operating in sophisticated advertising and media markets.
• Proven track record of major contract negotiation driving to win/win and or sound commercial success aligning marketing and communications with the business.
• Experience engaging at C-suite level within both own organization and customer/partner organizations.
• Experience operating in an organization where the customer is B2B but the brand is also B2C.
• Strength in building partnerships and relationships with proven ability to influence.
• Ability to operate with agility and be comfortable to carve out strategy where there is ambiguity.
• Clear experience in empowering teams to take thoughtful risks using every experience as a growth opportunity to drive a culture of innovation and growth.
