Title and Summary

Manager, Business Development (Lead Generation), Americas, Mastercard Services Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager to lead our BDR team across North America and Latin America. This role is responsible for overseeing the front-end of the sales funnel, developing and implementing scalable outbound prospecting strategies, ensuring the team's alignment with overall business goals and marketing campaigns, and ultimately sourcing qualified revenue opportunities for the Mastercard Services business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team management: Lead, mentor, and manage the Americas (North America and Latin America + Caribbean) BDR team for Mastercard Services, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Strategy Development: Work with team members to develop and implement scalable strategies for outbound prospecting across channels (email, phone calls, LinkedIn, etc.) with a specific focus on senior decision-makers at enterprise organizations.
• Revenue Impact: Drive qualified business opportunities for Mastercard Services, enabling the team to achieve and surpass their KPI targets.
• Collaboration and Teaming: Drive collaboration with stakeholders across Mastercard to obtain qualitative feedback on outbound lead generation processes, implementing process/strategic improvements and deploying best practices. Foster a team-oriented environment within the BDR function and develop strong partnerships with key cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to drive collective success.
• Data-driven Orientation: Rely on data to inform which strategies are performing best and proliferate winning tactics across the team. Coach the team against their key metrics including outreach volume and response rates and outcomes (e.g., meetings, opportunities).
• Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the BDR team to enhance their skills and effectiveness, including general sales skills, tool utilization, and product / subject matter expertise.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve BDR processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on BDR performance, campaign effectiveness, and business impact to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a global organization. Ideally prior experience working as a Business Development Representative or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of prospecting and inbound / outbound sales processes.
• Skilled in CRM systems (ideally experience with Salesforce) and sales enablement tools like Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Ability to Navigate Complexity: Success in the role requires the ability to understand and navigate Mastercard's complex organizational structure.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute plans that align with business objectives.
• Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
• Adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
