Overview

The Manager, Business Process Improvement SP&SM will oversee and guide a team responsible for managing end-to-end contractual and operational processes that support Contingent Worker engagement and third-party vendor operations within Services in the Asia Pacific and Middle East Africa regions. This leader ensures operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across procurement, onboarding, and vendor management workflows. Working closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, the Manager drives efficiency, consistency, and enhanced service delivery.

Role

Team Leadership & Oversight
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts responsible for contingent workforce and contractual operations.
• Establish clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development.
• Drive process discipline, high-quality execution, and accountability within the team.

Operational Excellence
• Oversee execution of the procure-to-pay (p2p) lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of contracts, onboarding, and vendor documentation.
• Guide the team in executing Workday (personnel), Coupa (procurement), and Oracle (financial) system transactions.
• Ensure proper classification of contracts under the Contingent Worker taxonomy.
• Govern the creation and review of Statements of Work and third-party agreements.
• Monitor invoice processing, payment workflows, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management
• Serve as the primary escalation point for internal business partners and external vendors.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, resolve issues, and improve end-to-end delivery.
• Strengthen vendor relationships and ensure alignment with operational expectations.
• Support integration and coordination efforts related to Advisors Delivery and The Source platforms.

Continuous Improvement & Governance
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Champion standardization of best practices across the Business Operations function.
• Ensure adherence to Mastercard policies, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
• Track operational KPIs and provide reporting to leadership as needed.

All About You
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or business operations.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring teams within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of service contracts, procure-to-pay processes, and contingent workforce management.
• Proficiency with Workday, Coupa, and Oracle systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive operational rigor, lead through ambiguity, and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
