Title and Summary
Manager, HR Services OverviewAre you passionate about driving compliance and operational excellence on a global scale? Our Background Screening and Right to Work team plays a critical role in safeguarding Mastercard's integrity and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires worldwide. As Global Manager, you will lead a team responsible for adjudications and work authorization processes across multiple regions, fostering collaboration, consistency, and continuous improvement while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.
Role
In this global leadership role, you will:
• Lead and develop a global team managing background check adjudications and work authorization processes across all regions, ensuring timely, compliant execution aligned with Mastercard policies and local regulations.
• Define global strategy and standards for BGC and RTW processes, ensuring consistency while accommodating regional regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex or high-risk cases, partnering with Talent Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, and regional HR leaders to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
• Drive global process optimization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across markets.
• Ensure global audit readiness and compliance, implementing robust controls and monitoring adherence to workflows.
• Champion data privacy and confidentiality standards, ensuring compliance with global and regional regulations (including HIPAA and GDPR).
• Collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to align global practices with enterprise priorities and contribute to policy development.
• Coach and mentor regional leads, fostering skill development, engagement, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

All About You
You are a strategic and detail-oriented HR leader who thrives in a global, service-driven environment. You bring:
• Proven experience managing global HR operations teams, with expertise in compliance, onboarding, or background screening.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
• Deep knowledge of global background screening and work authorization requirements, including familiarity with regional regulations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and building trust across functions and cultures.
• Operational mindset with a continuous improvement focus, leveraging data and technology to enhance processes globally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems; experience with Workday is a plus.
• A commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and delivering a best-in-class employee experience worldwide.
