Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Role

The Open Banking Business Intelligence team focuses on analytics, automation, and innovative development to meet the performance needs of Mastercard's Open Banking customers. Defining the strategic direction for Metrics and Key Performance Indicators to enable the successful implementation of our services with the end-customer.

• Data Support and Analytics Leadership: Ingest, process, and coordinate client data. Lead funnel analytics, UX metrics, and API data analysis.
• Collaboration and Feedback Integration: Facilitate analytics tasks and share insights. Collect and synthesize feedback for new solutions.
• Expertise and Advanced Analytics: Serve as a resource on data warehouse, compliance, validation, and testing. Apply metrics and benchmarking to solutions.
• Automation and Model Development: Develop scalable code for automated data processing. Oversee data mining, time series analysis, and forecasting.
• Mentorship and Standardization: Guide junior team members. Ensure consistent data-driven insights using tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, and MS Office.
• Compliance and Knowledge Capture: Adhere to policies and regulations. Structure project work to capture intellectual capital.

All About You

• Industry Experience: Significant Experience in Payments/Financial Services or consulting.
• Analytical Skills: Business analysis, modeling, segmentation, and data mining.
• Technical Proficiency: Skills in Tableau, Alteryx, Python, MS-Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL.
• Data Handling: Experience in standardizing, summarizing, and analyzing data.
• Analytical Methods: Understanding of analytical methods and data visualization.
• Operational Systems: Ability to work with complex systems and BI tools.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering). Master's degree preferred.
• Leadership: Self-motivated leader with experience in global teams.
• Problem-Solving: Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Flexibility: Able to work with global offices across time zones. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
