Title and Summary

Manager, Payroll Overview:
Support the Global Mobility payroll and global employment tax operations delivering transaction excellence and “priceless” customer service, creating value and contributing to the overall business impact of Mastercard's multi-function Global Business Solutions Centre (GBSC).

Support the Global Mobility payroll and global employment tax operations delivering transaction excellence and “priceless” customer service, creating value and contributing to the overall business impact of Mastercard's multi-function Global Business Solutions Centre (GBSC).
This position partners primarily with the Global Mobility Center of Excellence (COE) and Global Payroll, and will partner with other cross functional teams as necessary.
In support of Global Payroll, this role provides (1) responsibility for monthly expat payrolls and additional oversight for employees on local payrolls with Global Mobility impacts and (2) global employment tax guidance for regular payroll processing, including equity processing.

Role:
Previous experience in a Global Mobility operations function and delivering an exceptional employee experience for all customers, including payroll and tax
Serve as the Global Employment Tax lead for Payroll
Lead efforts to streamline and manage our expat payrolls
Liaise between our Global Mobility payroll partners and Payroll and provide oversight for employees with Global Mobility impacts to ensure timely, accurate and compliant payrolls across the globe
Ensure service level agreements and/or key performance indicators are consistently met and/or exceeded
Partner with our Global Mobility COE to ensure seamless service delivery between the two functions

All About You:
Bachelor's degree or above
Global Mobility experience, with specific expertise in global employment tax and payroll
Strong critical thinking and project management skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a global organization at multiple levels and business units
Ability to effectively manage vendors, ensuring adherence to contracts and service level agreements
Ability to be flexible in a fast paced, deadline focused, changing environment
Strong client services mentality and able to develop strong working relationships with your team, stakeholders, and partners to deliver a high quality service
Solid project management experience inclusive of process design and system optimization

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
