Title and Summary

Manager, Payroll Overview:
Global Payroll is a part of MasterCard's Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) – HR Vertical and is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments to our employees globally. We have team members in several locations throughout the world to provide superior customer service to our employees.

Role:
• Responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and wages within the United States and Canada.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations, laws, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate data in employee records and payroll systems.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports as needed.
• Audit and approve all payroll-related transactions.
• Identify and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner.
• Provide guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.
• Coordinate and oversee payroll changes and upgrades.
• Liaise with auditors as needed and resolve payroll issues.

All About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field highly preferred.
• Experience with Workday Payroll in US & Canada.
• Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay Range:

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
