Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management - Mastercard Processing Overview:
The Mastercard Processing product management team is responsible for defining the strategy and executing the delivery of Processing products & Value-Added-Services serving traditional and non-traditional Issuers/customers including but not limited to Banks, Telcos, Retailers, Fintechs and Microfinance companies.

We are looking for a Product Manager who will focus on developing product strategies and roadmaps to ensure maximum penetration of market segments, while collaborating closely across multiple functions to build and execute the product pipeline. Manages and maintains existing product lines on an on-going basis, including partner management. Conducts opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts. Provides design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development. Defines business and technical requirements, and manages the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms.

Major Accountabilities:
• Collaborate with Commercialization team in building and maintaining strong pipeline for multicurrency opportunities in the EEMEA region
• Monitor product performance, provide feedback, participate in change control processes, and manage vendor relationships
• Coordinate with customer teams, customers and third parties to develop product strategies and possible enhancements of existing product offerings
• Develop and implement programs and initiatives using the Go-To-Market process to increase card issuance in both established and emerging markets
• Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, financial modelling and planning
• Execute business plans which promote the value and profitability of MasterCard acceptance
• Enhance the development and design of product-marketing strategy from product decision through product life cycle
• Coordinate the execution of advertising, promotional, and sales programs of the Distributors of the product in order to meet objectives

All About You:
• you have advanced product management knowledge, with extensive experience working on product and proposition launches in multiple markets and in areas such as domestic and cross border issuance
• you have experience in Issuer or Acquirer Processing
• you have experience in technical sales or product manager for a complex payment product or service
• you have a proven ability to manage complex sales processes with a wide range of prospects
• you able to lead conversations at both a business and complex technical level
• Payments knowledge – either at a service provider (bank, PSP fintech, payment network), or with payments/processing solution provider
• Effective Communications – story telling, visual presentation, thinking on your feet, handling customer objections and questions, managing the conversation
• Influencing/Value Selling – understanding prospect needs and how they define value, adapting your message to the audience, illustrating value over features
• Sales- scoping, qualification, proposal writing, presentations, closing and customer agreements
• Solutions Development – presenting solutions to solve real pain points, clearly communicating value, architecting a full solution
• Self-starter / motivated to work independently and as an effective team member
