Title and Summary
Manager, Products and Solutions Overview:We are looking for an experienced product manager to manage our product line strategy for consumer products in Japan and drive the strategy forward by consistently innovating and aligning with division strategy. This position helps provide the answer to “Why Mastercard” from product differentiation perspective and ensure flawless delivery of product services to delight customers. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious about our industry and products, analytical, and possesses a growth mindset.
Role:
In this position, you will:
• Be responsible to manage Japan's consumer product line strategy (credit, debit, and prepaid products).
• Manage the related value-added services and solutions associated with the core consumer products, when required.
• Monitor industry trends and transactional trends and analyze transactions to provide insights and provide corresponding implications for Mastercard and its customers.
• Monitor industry consumer product customer value proposition (“CVP”) to ensure our CVP's relevance.
• Propose and adjust strategy and associated workstreams accordingly.
• Drive execution by curating best products and solutions for clients and ensuring high quality execution.
• Support the Consumer Products Lead, leading to growth in gross dollar volume, purchase volume, and net revenue of the consumer products.
• Manage the cost of CVP so that it stays within the Mastercard guidelines.
• Collaborate with the sales team to communicate the most appropriate product CVP to clients.
• Liaise between clients and product managers in case of any inquiry or concern raised by clients.
• Collaborate with other product teams and the regional product team.
• Manage product variance requests.
• Report to Director, Product Management.
