Overview
This is an exciting, highly dynamic, and high-profile role focused on conceptualizing, designing, and bringing to market innovative products & solutions in and around payments.
The candidate should possess ample knowledge about the latest innovation in the payment product & solutions space and, with a ‘digital-first' mindset, should have a passion for delivering superlative payments-led experiences.
We are seeking an individual to design, source, and drive payments-led products & solutions in the Bangladesh market.
The incumbent should have a thorough understanding of card products – Credit, Debit, Pre-paid, and Commercial cards, how their P&L works, and also understand digital solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and implementing all product-related discussions for the Bangladesh market.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage several payment products and solutions, including digital products, for the Bangladesh market and provide knowledge of Mastercard products, services, or platform capabilities to support local requirements and market enablement.
• Support Account Managers in QBR presentations to key issuers in the market.
• Partner with other solutions experts to support CSC value proposition development, with a focus on their local market and/or segment.
• Serve as a go-to expert and support the development of differentiated products and solutions to meet the needs of Mastercard's clients within their market and/or segment.
• Model functional knowledge and best practice sharing, and provide thought leadership on technology trends and holistic system thinking to improve solutioning for their clients.
• Identify complex issues related to products and solutions development for their market and/or segment and recommend improvements to the market's portfolio or solutions strategy.
• Drive competitive analysis for Mastercard's products and solutions and share findings/analysis with country teams.
• Identify local partners to drive joint initiatives around CVP/benefits creation.
• Bring in Mastercard's latest products & solutions to the Bangladesh market and help customers get connected with external & internal resources.
• Work closely with the Account Management team and Technology Account Management team while implementing new products & solutions.
About the Candidate
• Master's Degree/MBA from a reputed educational institution.
• 8–10 years of work experience managing products & solutions, including Business Analysis experience at reputed Fintechs, banks, or telcos.
• Rich experience in the delivery of products & solutions with cutting-edge technology in the relevant field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project Management.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple internal & external stakeholders.
• Applies extended expertise of principles, theories, and concepts, plus broad knowledge of business/function and development lifecycle, usually acquired through eight to ten years of experience.
• Good understanding of the regulatory environment governing the cards/payment industry in Bangladesh.
• Broad understanding of the fintech ecosystem, especially payment or non-payment enabled products and solutions, is desired.
• Experience working within Agile teams would be a distinct advantage.
• Hands-on experience with different card products & solutions will be an advantage.
• Should be a team player and be willing to work in a highly competitive environment.
