Product Management Lead, JP We are hiring for 3 Product Lead roles in Japan as part of a strategy expansion.

Director, CAE Product Management Lead

CAE places Mastercard in the heart of our customer's consumer engagement strategies. Our vision is to become the partner of choice for Issuers and Merchants leveraging our solutions to drive profitable consumer engagement and Mastercard Preference. Mastercard is the largest payments marketing and loyalty provider globally with more than 20 years of driving successful consumer engagement with more than 2500 clients and 300M consumers on our products.

In order to deliver simple, seamless cardholder/consumer experience and drive value to Issuers and merchants though differentiation we are seeking a Director, CAE for Japan division.

This role is responsible for driving execution of commercialized (global and regional) products as relevant; develop localized product and service capabilities through local partnerships; provide knowledge of local market landscape, regulatory implications on growth, developing go-to-market plans and identify new revenue or business development opportunities. Partnering with the Japan division (IMK, P&I, IMC) CAE Lead executes product strategies to support services revenue growth and contribution to the Japan division.

The CAE team partners with the account team and Services sales on business development opportunities for Merchants and all Issuers accounts. As such they are responsible for taking existing CAE products to the market as solutions, as well as providing regional and global product teams with feedback from the market in terms of sizing the market opportunity and how products are perceived by existing or potential customers.

The role combines partner management, product, commercialization and program management and partners with Services Sales on new business development. The person will need to have personal ambition and drive and be able to work independently from close supervision to skillfully manage all components of the business. The Role
• CAE market lead for Japan is responsible for delivering financial results across all CAE products (Rewards, Offers, Marketing Services, DY) against set objectives for the Japan division. The responsibilities include developing Domestics Offers products and business model, identifying opportunities for Commerce Media product, accelerating Dynamic Yield penetration and growing Marketing Services solutions in Japan
• Partnering with the account management team to develop account plans that protect existing revenue and drive growth. Partners with Services Sales team to identify and deliver on new business opportunities
• Provision of original thought to resolve issues and create new loyalty, Marketing and Consumer engagement business opportunities
• Ability to think strategically and develop both short and long term strategy for continuous growth and development and translating this into tangible annual roadmaps, priorities and tactical initiatives
• Oversee implementation and development of new CAE product & platform launches in the division
• Identify partnership opportunities and strategic partners to build a growing base of Mastercard related assets focused on customer-led product constructs.
• Leverages In-Market expertise to lead In-Market product strategy, product roadmaps & priorities, cross-product integration and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors
• Acts as an expert, advocate and champion for designated products to internal and external stakeholders

The role reports directly to CAE AP Regional Lead.

Experience, Knowledge , Skills

• Led complex, international, cross-functional programs
• Extensive success building relationships with global multi-cultural teams and coordinating remote teams
• Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Product and partner management experience
• Deep understanding of issuers and merchants business needs and ability to pro-actively address these needs with CAE solutions.
• Background in consumer banking or selling to consumer banking clients, ideally in cards business, therefore having knowledge of the payments and card industry.
• Leading and managing through change
• Experience in loyalty industry, Ecommerce and Digital Marketing and partnerships an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; will need to be “hands-on” and able to function without a large infrastructure around him/her, yet still being able to leverage support from Regional and Global Office
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
• Highly proactive and self-driven individual who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced business environment, has strategic intent with a strong orientation to delivering tactically

Security Solutions Product Lead for Japan and Korea

As the Security Solutions Product Lead for Japan and Korea, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle of our security solutions across the division. This includes product strategy, go-to-market execution, and roadmap development initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with global and regional teams to ensure our offerings are competitive, scalable, and aligned with customer and market needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Management

Product SME, supporting business development in customer engagements and RFPs to drive revenue.

Identify market needs, validate product concepts with customers, and build business cases for new solutions.

Define and manage pricing strategies, billing models, and product lifecycle (including sunsetting and rationalization).

Monitor product performance and fraud trends, delivering insights through QBRs and to Sales/Account teams.

Drive adoption and retention by partnering with Customer Success, Technical Account managers and delivery teams.

2. Product Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and partnerships

Develop and execute GTM strategies including bundling, pricing for new solutions, and embedding SSO in broader platforms.

Evaluate product-market fit and maintain feedback loops with global/AP teams to inform roadmap and enhancements.

Represent the organization in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership through global insights.

Build strategic partnerships to scale SSO offerings and co-create value propositions with key partners.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in product management.

Strong understanding of security frameworks and customer challenges in this space in context of payments industry

Proven experience in GTM strategy, pricing, and customer engagement.

Familiarity with Japan and Korea regulatory and fraud landscape.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Bachelor's degree in technology, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.

Director, Business and Market Insights, NEA

• This role is responsible for Regional Product Management of the Business & Market Insights Product Group for NEA. This includes:
o Full P&L ownership
o Determining and driving forward the product innovation agenda and product road map especially for the division including any local partnerships and builds.
o Ensuring successful sales of the product through Mastercard's sales teams
o Ensuring flawless delivery of the product and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our customer relationships
• Candidates for this role will likely have answered ‘yes' to the following questions:
