Mastercard Prepaid Management Services (MPMS) delivers end-to-end prepaid card solutions across travel, transit, foreign exchange, gifting, and buy-now-pay-later segments. As a fintech enabler, MPMS operates a scalable, modular platform that supports a global portfolio of prepaid programmes, combining innovation with operational excellence.

Overview
Mastercard Prepaid Management Services is a leading global provider of prepaid card program management services. The Product Change team sits with in Global Product and supports the Business in providing subject matter expertise and supporting reporting, finance and back end operational deliverables in order to launch new business, products, or client/process changes.

Role

• Ownership of Issuer and Distributor onboarding documentation, ensuring regularly updated with feedback from cross functional stakeholders
• Delivery of Issuer and Distributor onboarding sessions to external clients
• Works with Global product to identify feasible and cost-effective solutions
o Develops knowledge to support basic queries
o Coordinates with other cross-functional SME's to create a considered and efficient solution suitable for all
• Reviews product specification documentation and contracts, identifying key considerations to be shared across wider finance team for impact assessment, collating any feedback received.
• Support production program testing working in conjunction with product delivery testing lead, responsibilities may include
o Identifies category of change highlighting any non-standard deliverables
o Creates project summary collating data from multiple sources
o Prepares test plan, scheduling dates and resourcing
o Coordinates inputs required from other finance teams
o Raises work requests to DAO and UAT as required
o Supports internal and external stakeholders during production testing
o Produces briefing materials for impacted operational teams
• Represents Product Change at project kick off meetings
o Understands and feeds back any impacts to wider finance team
o Captures and share impacts to reporting or transaction flows with impacted stakeholders
o Highlights blockers or issues as soon as they are revealed and identifies alternative solutions
• Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders in order to support team objectives
• Continuously improves the end-to-end project life cycle, documenting any procedural enhancements.
• Provides internal training to support educational initiatives

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• A solid understanding of the prepaid cards business
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with a flexible approach to adapt for changing priorities
• The ability to make considered decisions and communicate confidently with supporting evidence
• Very strong communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
• Ability to clearly document processes and procedures with a range of audiences in mind
• Diligent, methodical, structured approach to work with great observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with other teams to drive successful project outcomes
• Inquiring analytical mind, able to proactively review and improve existing processes and support adoption of best practice
• Basic knowledge of operational finance processes, systems and reconciliations
