Title and Summary

Senior Software Engineer Overview

• Core Payments (Products) division of MasterCard is involved in developing & supporting Authorization, Clearing solutions for MasterCard customers
• RPPS® / Billpay is an electronic payment network that enables consumer bill payments for approximately 95 percent of electronic bill payment industry service providers in the U.S. region
• Test solutions for RPPS® / Billpay and also support other Core Payments systems. This would involve creating test plan, test Strategy, test cases and also carrying out test execution and capturing results and validating against requirements
• Develop Test plan, strategy and schedule and track against it
• Understanding of various testing methodologies
• Coordinate and work with interfacing applications and MasterCard vendors to ensure success of the project
• Are you aware of Project Development methodologies like Agile and Waterfall?
• Have you worked with teams across countries?
• Do you have an understanding of Payments and Cards industry?

Role

• Responsible for the day to day software development efforts including requirements analysis, test planning, test execution assisting in delivery of software solutions
• Work with Functional Analyst & Solution Architect to develop test strategy and carry out execution
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and weekly tactical discussions
• Collaborate with business and technical partners
• Adhere to established software development processes
• Effectively communicate to management, business owners, and other stake holders
• Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise

All About You

•• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other equivalent technical field
• Full Stack developer with experience in web technologies such as JavaScript (JQuery, Angular), CSS & HTML
• Experience in with Java RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience in Spring Boot and Spring Batch
• Experience in Oracle
• Experience on Agile software development methodology
• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $115,000 - $184,000 USD
