Senior Specialist, Entertainment & Lifestyle Sponsorships (North America) Senior Specialist, SponsorshipsOverview:
We're looking for a creative and resourceful Senior Specialist to join Mastercard's North America Sponsorship Marketing team. This role supports the development and execution of sponsorship initiatives that tap into consumer passions to drive brand engagement and business impact.
You will be responsible for supporting Entertainment & Lifestyle sponsorships, working closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
Role:
• Develop and execute sponsorship marketing programs aligned with strategic priorities: engaging consumers, issuers, and merchants, strengthening customer relationships, and showcasing Mastercard's products and innovation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g,. Consumer Marketing, Brand, Communications), sponsorship properties and external agencies to bring campaigns to life across channels and programs, including priceless.com and small business initiatives.
• Manage cross-functional projects to optimize sponsorship investments that align with business objectives.
• Oversee agency planning and execution of deliverables including on-site activations and events.
• Manage sponsorship assets and activation budgets with each property to deliver against business objectives and evolving consumer trends.
• Organize and present sponsorship assets for internal use-cases (partner, customer, consumer) with ability to present and sell in effectively to internal stakeholders, (partner programming, B2B/B2B2B, etc).
• Execute and support onsite events, B2B hosting programs and sponsorship property activations.
• Manage compliance and asset management tools, Philanthropy requests, SAG reporting, Sustainability, and Employee engagement efforts.
• Lead the approval process for legal, brand, communications, licensed marks and property pass-through.
• Track and report on budgets, asset monetization, and program performance.
All About You/Required Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand, partnership management or sponsorship -related roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who can independently initiate tasks and navigate ambiguity with confidence.
• Proven ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners on complex projects.
• Skilled in developing presentations – able to craft compelling content and articulating a clear point of view. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable interacting with internal executives and external clients.
• Creative thinker with a proactive mindset, collaborative spirit, and a passion for brand storytelling and consumer engagement.
• Experience activating sponsorships and measuring performance to assess impact and recommend improvements.
