Title and Summary

Senior Vice President, People Business Partner, Services Overview:

The Senior Vice President, People Business Partner has primary responsibility for advancing a comprehensive talent strategy, which addresses all aspects of the employee lifecycle and organization design and development, in support of four business-line strategic goals and performance. This role reports to the EVP, People & Capability, Services and manages a team of five.

Responsibilities include:

• The development and implementation of talent strategies and initiatives, and management of people and organization activities across the portfolio.
• Manage and perform a wide range of P&C activities including, but not limited to:

o strategic alignment
o leadership development and succession planning
o organization design
o compensation assessment
o talent acquisition
o performance management
o employee relations management (where PBP needed)
o employee coaching

• Act as a positive cultural change agent, consultant and business advisor to the leadership team, enabling the execution of their business strategies and initiatives.
• Partner with Mastercard's Centers of Excellence and regional People Business Partners to develop strategies and initiatives designed to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency
• Serve as an advocate for employees and develop and implement initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, development, and productivity
• Partner with Finance to manage the budget and forecasting of expenses related to employees and all other P&C activities

All About You:

• Expertise in talent management and organizational effectiveness
• Experience in developing, managing, and implementing talent strategies
• Experience advising senior business leaders and coaching people leaders and employees to drive strategic people and culture initiatives
• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization
• Ability to design and articulate a strategic vision and plan, and ultimately, execute those plans with excellence
• Strong business acumen coupled with efficient project management, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability drive the people and culture agenda with speed, agility and quality

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
